Looking for 17" wheel options in 5x5.5, with correct backspace (4"?)

Trail ready and raceline beadlocks seem to be some of the very few 17" aluminum options. Realistically, i don't think I need beadlocks. Jeep will be used primarily for trails and offriad, but don't think I'll be going down to single digit psi, and plenty run the rubicon without beadlocks. That's probably the extreme end of what it will see.

Any reason I shouldn't get the simulated beadlicks from TrailReady?

That’s up to you, I haven’t had any issues with mine that would make me want to go back. Seems like a lot of money for simulated beadlocks.

How long does it take you to mount a set of tires?

Just worried about things like stripped wheel threads, broken bolts, siezed bolts, etc. For something probably not needed.

There just are no inexpensive wheel options out there in 5x5.5 besides steel.

Maybe an hour per tire, if that. I mount the tires while watching TV. I take my time. I have two sets of TR beadlocks and have mounted all of them without issue.

Never had any of those issues with mine. I did buy an extra set of bolts for them so I’m ready to replace them if there’s an issue. I think I’ve been running them for about 5 years now.

Is mounting a tire on a beadlock less hard work than a normal tire?

Cant go wrong with raceline beadlocks
