Not sure if this is being discontinued or what, but I recently found the 2Low kit for the Rubicon models (and the JK models) is suddenly a quarter of the price that it was:

Considered one in the past but decided it wasn't worth the price. A lot cheaper now, so I went ahead and ordered it.

Note I have never used one before so I can't vouch if it is good or not. Definitely was overpriced before in my opinion...

Could be really useful for manual transmission TJs in particular. Trying to back up a trailer or maneuver in a tight spot? Use 2Low and just idle along rather than riding the clutch.

At least that's my thinking. We'll see if it really is that useful.

Turns out it is discontinued. Picked one up but haven't installed it yet.

But now the 231 model is way marked down...

Probably going to be discontinued as soon as they liquidate the remaining stock.

Bought one on Amazon just now. Not sure when it'll get installed, but I've already been bit once by ignoring a stupid low price like this. I want 2 lo just about every time I drive the Jeep!

I’m not seeing the $90 price, was that for the 241 kit?

That was, yes. The 231 kit was still $336 at the time I posted the thread. Updated because I noticed the part was discontinued altogether and now the 231 kit is probably getting discontinued too

(Added 231 to the title after the recent edit)

Teraflex had it for $115 when I checked, Amazon had it for $116 ("only 5 in stock"), so I ordered it from them. A day later there were 3 in stock and the price had risen to $126. As I type this, there's 1 left, still at 126. *shrug* Shipped by "Alliance Supply".

Just received a shipping notice from Amazon - which hopefully means its really on its way. Amazon still claims 1 in stock.

Anybody buy the 231 2Lo kit and now have their stock shifter plate available for sale? I need a TJ style true neutral plate for a project but I can’t find them.
