Hello all,

My torque boxes are not in very good shape where the body mounts rest. I would prefer to patch them instead of replacing them. I was looking at these. Anyone have any experience with them? Any other ideas? Frame was checked and it is in very good shape, I spray it with Fluid Film twice a year. Body is good other than these torque box areas.

Also, I was going with a doorman kit for the body mounts. Okay? I don't want any more lift, so is there any other kit that anyone knows of? Kind of sucks you have to buy them individually. Other option is Crown as a full kit. Thanks for any help.

I just bought and installed Synergy body mounts

So far they are great and come in a kit

Thanks, I couldn't; find them on their website, but will keep looking. I guess I'm going to get the full torque boxes both sides and of course a rear track bar. The TJ is getting old, but runs like a champ, so far. Enjoy.

Nothing wrong with the Crown kit and oem 'rubber' is recommended over poly.

Did you put caps on your torque boxes? I trying to decide if I should put full length caps of fully replace the boxes. Not sure why i would fully replace them rather than just weld on the caps

You would fully replace them if they are so far gone that there is nothing to weld caps to and if the floor pans also need replacing.

Mine have welded spots, mostly only rusted at the mount locations.

Sm I wrong to think it's just overall more efficient and cost effective to use the caps? What's the downside rather than replacing the entire box? More chance of rust later with just the caps? Just curious whyni don't find more info about using the torque box caps.
