I knew we'd discussed that but just wanted to clarify....
Don't know if they did this back in 2008 or not... If they did it wasn't shared with the group I was with.

I see @macleanflood is boondocking as well. If I do this again another year I'll plan on that since I'm dry camp ready.

I'll be glad once I get mine boondocking ready.... Saves a lot of dough... I can last a week if not two easily in my MH with my water supply & tanks I just need more solar panels and some lithium batteries. Obviously there is more than that but that's the base I need to build off of.

Ultimately I'd like to have 6K split phase inverter & 3 more solar panels and then I'm not sure how many batteries I'll be able to fit. If I put some inside behind my recliners I could have a nice bank of batteries. Some say to remove the generator and use that space but I like having that backup.

I've got a pickup camper fully outfitted for solar but no car trailer. My dump trailer is my car trailer but it's a gooseneck and doesn't work with the camper. And besides all that the truck gets 6 to 7 mpg.
I'm perfectly fine for months with a hammock, a propane stove and some blankets. Refrigerator just means nicer food but I've lived on dehydrated backpacking meals and MREs. Might see if I can snare some rabbits.
Gonna have to figure out how to hammock in the land of no trees. Jeep is good for one side. Might need to get a post someplace and dig a hole
I filled out the form. I'm completely flexible so feel free to move me around to balance out groups.
I've got my Midland GMRS and two Baofang handhelds.
