I bought a 2002 tj complete basket case engine was hydro locked and blown. So i picked up another engine for $300 freshened it up I went to install the water pump and..... Well as it turns out the head is newer 2002 out of a grand cherokee and the bottom is older out of a cherokee or something. I did not notice this because it had the right distrubutor ect. The issue is The correct water pump for a 2002 does not fit its missing 2 holes and I dont think i can use the older style pump because of my a/c compressor.
What are my options?

Maybe look for a pump from a 2002 Grand Cherokee? Never encountered or heard of this issue before so I can't be of much help besides that.

Hopefully someone else will chime in who has run into such an issue.

Well i just realized the a/c pump wont bolt up either since someone used a newer head a nd a older bottom end the 2 mounting points dont exsist looks like im screwed

The water pump i could figure out but the a/c is what did it in shame no one made a bracket for this ever..

Just picked upa 02 grand cherokee for $500 with a good engine I like that a/c to much when sitting at a light lmaooo. I guess i will have to find a cherokee sport or something to throw my other engine in.
