I recently purchased a used Wrangler Sport, 2015. After a few weeks of driving it around I noticed sloshing sounds from behind the dash. I checked the coolant resevoir and it was nearly empty so I topped it off and I took it to my mechanic.
They said I had a leaky radiator so I had them replace it for me about two weeks ago.
For a few days everything seemed great but then from a cold start one morning it sounded as though someone was running a bath behind the dash. When I pressed the gas you could also hear liquid rushing. It sounds to be coming from near the heater core area.
I checked the coolant again and the resevoir was in between the Min and Max lines. I had my mechanic top off the coolant again and it was once again doing fine. 3 days later and I'm back to the same issue again.
I haven't experienced any overheating. There's no leakage as far as I can tell on the passenger side and underneath the Jeep on the driveway is bone-dry. Also, the heat in the car works fine, the oil is clean, and no white smoke from the exhaust.
The Jeep only has 80k miles on it. I'm only just learning how these things work.
Has anyone experienced this? I am new to Wranglers but I love this thing despite the issues I've had. Any help would be very appreciated.

Edit: I just discovered a leak coming from the small hose attached at the radiator from the resevoir. Likely the culprit?

This is a TJ forum. Someone may chime in with a common fix, but you’d be better suited asking for advice on a JK forum.

Wrong forum, but all vehicles are essentially the same in regards to this topic.

That small hose may be the reason for losing some coolant, but certainly does not explain the noises in the dash.

The "water sloshing sound" makes me thing there is liquid in the HVAC box, possibly due to a clogged drain hose that doesn't let any accumulated liquid drain out of the box.

The "liquid rushing noise" is likely coolant flowing through the heater core. I've had that noise on a vehicle before, and it was due to no restriction in the heater hose inlet to the core (a regular hose nipple was used instead of the factory heater control valve). With the correct parts, there should be no audible noise from the heater core.

that little hose should go to no where. it wouldnt let coolant in to the interior of the vehicle. id have to to storage to look at my jku but im positive that house just sits there and doesnt go anywhere (maybe to overflow tank)

sloshing inside the vehicle could very well be water under the cowl.
