Mine hasn’t squeaked, but the latch doesn’t make constant contact once the hood is closed. Try adjusting your latch so there isn’t constant contact between the grill and latch. The latch should only graze over the skid when closing the hood.

Mine hasn’t squeaked, but the latch doesn’t make constant contact once the hood is closed. Try adjusting your latch so there isn’t constant contact between the grill and latch. The latch should only graze over the skid when closing the hood.

Mine doesn't appear to have any adjustment. Is it different depending on year? I have a 2002. I tried loosening the bolt but it is not an oversize hole for movement.
