Mispellings on the Forum

I literally know people that think that means schools will just close down 😞

That's what a large percentage of the population believes. Just goes to show how uninformed and stupid people are.

Just like they thought the overturning of Roe vs. Wade would somehow outlaw abortion.

We're surrounded by idiots.

@JMT - how about we discuss the elimination of the double space between sentences? I was taught to use them, but the current style manuals say it's no longer necessary, and I'm told that's being taught in schools these days. The reason given is that modern fonts are designed to be more readable. However, the modern fonts don't seem that way to me. Until they do, and I can see extra space that helps me read a paragraph, I will buck the new rule!

How about the use of commas?

This, this, and that.

or:

This, this and that.

It's unfortunate too because Colorado used to be a very conservative state. It was very beautiful then. Still is, it's just being ruined by the untalented, unimpressive, managerial class.

Yeah it is sad. Certainly not the place I grew up in anymore. It's even an issue out here where I live, I was hopeful I was fa tenough out of the metro area to not be as directly impacted but nopeeee

Yeah, you gotta move way the hell out where nobody would ever dream to come. That's why we moved where we did.

Yep that's what I'm thinking. I keep saying I want to move somewhere boring as hell so there aren't people attracted to it to make it crappy. I don't need fancy attractions or night life I just want my peace

I always double space at the end of sentences when using my PHOOOOOONE!!1! It inserts the period and single space.

Exactly what we did. Nothing to do, very few places to eat or shop (really only Walmart), and enough wind that most people who do move here would likely regret having done so.
