How do you refer to @AndyG?
My phone doesn't seem to know the difference between its and it's.
No one does.
You know what I've been collecting for years and years as the forum admin? People who use excessive punctuation and improper use of capital letters.
I see people tying things like this............ or even this!?!?!?!?! or sometimes things like !!!
And then there are people who write thread titles like this:
what is the Biggest size Tire i can Fit on my jeep Wrangler???
All this to say people are either lazy, uneducated, or both.
I spend a decent amount of time each day editing posts.
Oh ItS WoRsE tHaN tHaT...
Spelling like that actually takes some time and effort, surprisingly.

Using the wrong form of a word is one thing - misspelling is another. My web browser underlines any words it doesn't recognize - doesn't everyone's? Oh wait - this can probably be blamed on people using a PHOOOOOONNE instead of a real computer...![]()

It always irks me that it's isn't the possessive form of it
I can overlook a few mispelt words here and there but I really struggle trying to help folks that do this.
Me either my buddy swears by the thing lol so i guess ill give it a shot and if that dont work im gonna try wranglerfix probably. All i did was change plugs and coil pack and the cranlshaft pos sensor and went to start it and itll crank just wont start The part i have coming is basically a new pcm thats preprogrammed without the skim system in it its a plug and play all i have to do is disconnect neg battery cable unplug the immobilizer and plug in the pcm and it should bypass the skim alltogether so in the future it wont mess up anymore only downside to it that i seen is the light will stay on in the dash but i can live with that and just pull the bulb out of the cluster as long as i get movin again I was just watching a video on that im gonna check all that in the morning the way i understand it is when i unplug the shorted sensor with the key on i should be able to hear the fuel pump kick on because it will return to the 5 volts once the short is disconnected and my OBD reader that i have should communicate with the computer again then i just have to trace to where the short is located and do some operating lol
I don't need English major quality but can we just try a bit, just a little?
Was that incorrect apostrophe use deliberate? It is difficult to know due to the nature of this thread, and also because these days it is common for people to think adding 's to any word makes it a plural.I’m a strong Oxford Comma advocate. Sometimes its absence is a very laughable occasion. Comma’s matter! But again, I fail to get it right all the time.
How about a sister thread on terminology? Like the difference between cranking, turning over and starting? I used to get into arguments with my brother in law when he worked for me for using the wrong terminology, in the electrical trade that can lead to problems. Part of an apprenticeship is learning the correct names for every product we use and every wiring method.Someone should start a sister thread to this one: “Misgendering on the forum”

I accidentally referred to member @Shank as "Skank" when I first joined up here (misread it, that's my defense). What's worse is, I think I was actually thanking him in the post.
Look at me, makin' friends wherever I go...![]()
Your doing this on purpose![]()
