Who are we liking for control arms now. My patience for these Core4x4 arms has dropped to 0 and I'm just going to replace them. Looking for 2 johnny joints and double adjustable. Just need upper rears for now.

Won't buy more Core4x4 after what happened with my front uppers.
Savvy is out because I want them this year, they don't appear to sell pairs individually anyways.

Who does that leave?

RockJocks are 480$, am I missing any other options or is that literally it?

Ope I found out you can get to single pairs from Savvy thru a Google search. 399$

That was my first thought til I found a way to get this link: https://savvyoffroad.com/savvy-tj-lj-johnny-joint-aluminum-upper-rear-control-arms/

80$ is 80$, as long as I can actually get them in a reasonable amount of time.

I thought I had read Summit had their own arms now but all I can find is other people's stuff on their site.

I'm about to try to order a full set of savvy arms. just waiting for Gerald to get back to me about shipping to Australia and how to pay.

Summit have these but looks like you can only buy a full set.

I don't truly understand the differences between the two aluminums savvy used/is switching to but it doesn't really matter which they give me for this application anyways, right?

They do, I just bought a pair of front uppers a few months ago and had them 2 weeks later. I'll be buying another pair of lowers whenever I get around to it.

The 7000 stuff is a harder, more resilient alloy and likely more than anyone needs for short arms.

Can I ask what the problem was with your Core 4x4 arms? Reason I ask is I've been looking at their stuff and was thinking about going with their crawl series arms which have Johnny joints and can be had as double adjustable as well?

For my front uppers, they use a "narrow" johnny joint, which isn't the same design as the regular ones with the polyurethane race at all. And I'm not sure exactly why but the joint wouldn't stay together, it kept spitting out the snap ring. No evidence of the housing binding against the mount bracket or anything.

The rears I'm replacing now were their cheaper ones (tier 2 in old naming scheme) which is a rubber bushing and off brand JJ. I don't wanna deal with the rubber bushing and I really shouldn't have arms with rubber bushings for how I drive it.
