Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Should've posted this earlier but it looks like whoever is running savvy social media (and sending out discount codes that don't work) told me
the skids are gonna get a redesign soon.

I spoke to Gerald a few days ago and he confirmed he still has engine skids and tcase skids in stock.

Given what I've read on here about about previous redesigns, I'd say order now if you've been wanting to do this upgrade in case they mess it up

Coming to Zavvy soon: 7071 aluminum engine/transmission skid with 3/8" steel bracing for extra strength and at a discount cost of $1,000- down from $1,199!

Do they still take 0-36 months to ship stuff?

Edit - this is actually a legit question not [just] a joke lol. I might call tomorrow and find out

I called Gerald for this exact reason before i put my order in LOL.

He said they're in stock and ready to ship

Hahaha perfect!! I will still make sure I think but this is good to hear. I'd need them by like 3/30 latest so that'd be hard on their previous schedule.

And we can poke fun at the prices all we want but they're still 80$ cheaper than rockjocks arms..

The new Savvy arms are listed for 1,999.99 and are just marked down for now. That's $141.99 more than Currie at $1,858.00; though, you do get double adjustable lowers with that.

Are the RockJock lowers not DA? I was only really looking at the rear uppers. Interesting that the rear uppers are cheaper from savvy but the whole set is more.

No, and you can order the cheaper single adjustable uppers if you so choose.

They're still 410$ vs savvy's 399. Not a huge difference obviously, but still. Maybe the lowers cost more than rockjocks to make up for it. My lowers can probably survive another season (although they are skyjacker rubber on both side so not much longer most likely)

You're still looking at Savvy's old arms. They don't sell the new 7075s in pairs yet I don't believe. And I don't know how much longer they'll have the old in stock anyway.

Re-do things that don't need a re-do.

They are Savvy in name only.

I emailed Gerald about wanting the purchase the 6061 arm pairs and doing it pair by pair and according to the people who run the savvy instagram account says they will be discontinuing the 6061 arms so I’m trying to hurry up and save up my money to strictly focus on arms at the moment . If I can I’ll figure out how to attach a photo from my email

I was looking at ordering the skids and they emailed me a code that didn't work.
However, when the email back to them came back undeliverable I found Gerald's email from earlier in this thread and he took care of it for me.

Gonna be a big spring, body lift, tuck, 4in short arm lift, and a host of fluxoffroad goodies...

I love it when a lottery winner buys a TJ! Or you sold a kidney...
