06 Passenger Airbag Replacement

Hi! I just grabbed an 06 Sport that'll need a little work to get right. Previous owner said they hit a deer and the passenger bag deployed. I'd like to replace that right away. It's looking like I'll need:

- airbag/airbag assembly (55314982AF)
- airbag control module
- airbag cover

Is that list correct? Also, is there a known part number for the control module? Any one place that has these items, no matter the cost? Thank you guys for any help!

Not really, probably out of stock at any of the Mopar sites.

Once you have all the P/Ns you can google those.

Always people parting out Jeeps online.
If the bags blow on older vehicles, insurance usually totals them.

I did more research last night and stumbled into folks saying it's illegal to replace airbags with and old or "used" bag. Would you know if this is true or where I can find information on that?

Call a u–pull it or pick a part place and they might answer your question. I’m thinking they will not sell air bags for that very reason.
