After watching numerous videos about thermostats and water pumps as well as fuel injectors...No sense leaving well enough alone.. Changed the t-stat (195deg.) and housing, new belt and of course new temp sensor. That was all absolutely crusty and nasty all the way around.went ahead and rounded out the original temp sensor so off to autozone last minute. Swapped out all the hoses and clamps. Fuel injectors had to come out with a prybar. The new ones slide in nice and easy after a thorough cleaning.

It's tough to leave well enough alone.

Being so tall is a blessing and a curse. I just don't fit in so many things like cars, planes, clothes and doorways, but I can reach the top shelf at the grocery store!
I only dream of doing that haha...I'm lucky if I can even SEE what's on the top shelf :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

After ripping a hole in the exhaust, I took it into my mechanic to weld her up..I noticed some weeping from the water pump....joy.
Got the mechanic to do it as he was already gonna fix the hole....Update!... 1 stubborn corroded bolt just won't let go so its gonna take more time in the shop.
Now I'm jeep-less this weekend :(
I'm hoping he throws some heat on the bolt on Monday so he can finish the job.

Woke up this morning with sore fingers and hands , pain in my thighs - forgot there were even muscles in them after last nights adventures, decided to swap out the plastic outer fender extensions with stock ones - much cleaner look. And of course the perfect aftermarket fit which required some finesse and a self tapping screw here and there.

Next up will be some factory switches from Ebay for the lockers going in soon. Any idea where to grab an easy switched hot in the area under the HVAC controls?

The radio or there should be 2 wires behind the glove box not connected to anything labeled "switched hot" and "battery hot".

Labels Ha..Ha..Ha.. Dust and crusty tape maybe. I'll probe around the fuse box and wires and "See" if I can find a switched hot ( ignition hot ) in there. The radio was hacked into for an aftermarket system from the PO - She was very proud of BTW. other than the head unit it sits in a pile in the corner of the garage. I re- soldered the harness and chopped the 1/2mile of wires out. Pretty sharp TJ Jones!

Does your rig have the round 12 volt power outlet and cig lighter? If I recall, one of those is switched.

Left side (cigarette lighter) is switched, right side (power port) is constant

Thats good to know!!! I've been distracted with the new drip from the lower radiator hose top clamp. The worst one to get to of course. Seems to be more than finicky. I may try a worm gear clamp in lieu of the constant pressure clamp.

I used the right side to fit a surface mount usb power adapter already.

No to using a worm gear clamp. Leaks will develop over time with temperature changes. Keep the constant tension clamp. If it's shot get a new one.

I agree, it's a band aid until I overthink the aggravation of pulling off the belt and fighting the clamp with channel locks instead of a fancy one time use tool.

Installed Quadratec 4" round LED fog lights.

I have those in spots on my A pillar and floods on the bumper. Lamin-X makes some 4 inch round sheets that fit perfectly if you remove the front ring to install them. I used clear on the spots and amber on the floods. I tried the yellow on the floods first but didn’t like the color output with the LED’s. Seemed like it was weak or something.
