What did you do to your TJ today?

I think I got the idea from @jjvw

secrets 🤫

Got it dirty. Got it VERY dirty. Took one of the trails at the "Jeepin' with Judd" event - group ride. I will say this: You guys are dead nuts right - a (mostly) stock Jeep is VERY capable. My wife and I did shit that there was NFW we would have even thought about trying on our own. I have dashcam video I'll post in a few days. BEST MOD EVER: JKS disconnects!

A couple of dumb post-trail questions:

1 A lot of the Jeeps had the required tow strap/kinetic rope pre-deployed on the back. The reason is obvious, but how advisable is this?

2 Several fellow Jeepers here at the same hotel. Every single one, without exception backed into their parking space. *shrug*

I don't ever see this in Moab.

Yes.

I’m going to ask a dumb question about your dumb question. Are you saying that they were dragging around their tow strap? I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but what is the obvious reason for doing this?

When entering a questionable mud hole many of us idiots will hook up tow strap to front or rear and then bring the other end in to the Jeep. Therefore no swimming in the muck if momentum ends.

Ok, I understand that logic. I usually just have my wife get out and hook everything up. Just kidding, she doesn’t do a damn thing other than hold onto the grab handle and b!*ch about my driving. Occasionally, she is a decent automatic gate opener but only in warm weather. I’d trade her in for a newer model, but the reviews seem to be worse for the newer/younger ones.

So I went about this all wrong????? And yes it almost went swimming, but managed not to dive in head first.

Ok, so that answers that question...

But what's up with the backing into parking spaces?
