What did you do to your TJ today?

It's more of a what was lost from my tj today. My jeep dog Gabriel left my tj and crossed the rainbow bridge today. Man I'm going to miss him.View attachment 595036

I’m sorry to hear that mate… losing your best friend can be a tough pill to swallow… my condolences go out to you and your family

Installed a Tuffy cargo enclosure. Like others have said, it is solid, but not the easiest to install.

I'm sorry for you loss man. He looked like the best boy.

IMO, the hurt shows you loved each other very much and had something special.

You are loved and missed, Gabriel. Rest well pretty boy.

I'm thankful my friend told me to pick Nova up for a photo...about a week before she was no longer with me. She was 4.

Thanks man. He was the best.

Sorry for your loss.

My bud is 13 years old as well and going down hill fast.

Never thought I’d be so attached to a 3.5lb Yorkie after owning black and tans as well as blue tick hounds previously.

Traveling for biz and just spoke to my wife to see how he’s holding up and the guy is howling for me.

I joke to my friends …lock your wife and dog in the trunk of your car. After an hour open it up and see which one is happy to see ya.

We are truly blessed to have such great companions.

Take care.

Thank you. And hopefully you can spend lots of time with your bud in his waining days. I'm retired so I have had lots of time with Gabriel leading up to this day.

Sorry for your loss!

Lost my best (dog) girl, Bella, 18 months ago. She was 14 and it was still too early, came out of nowhere and quick.

Sending prayers to you and your loved ones! They're our best friends - I hope you remember the good times together!

Thank you. He was definitely my best friend. Lots of great memories. He loved riding in my tj.

You guys are making me sad. My boy is still a total puppy at heart, but at almost 4 we're already getting close to halfway through.

@All 4 Wheelin' I'm going to spill some beef onto the ground for the homie tonight.

It's incredibly hard after the loss but the journey is completely worth it!

I was always a 'keep her on a food diet that keeps her fit (not overweight) so her joints were better protected — and spoil the hell out of her when I'm eating something taste'!

Pour some beef out in memory of Gabriel!

Yeah I feel the same way! I weigh him every now and then to make sure he ain't getting fat - I am seeing what that is doing to my mom's older dog now :( but I definitely don't hesitate to share some good meat with him, and the good treats (duck hearts are his fav). He definitely runs enough to work it off.

Will do!!

Bella was a Black Lab - so hip dysplasia was expected as she aged. Weight helps a ton to extend hip comfort so we always kept her lean/fit.

BTW, funny you say yours is a puppy at 4. Bella was still a puppy her entire life - when the energy hit, you'd never guess her age. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, common problem in the shepherds too! I spent a lot of time (and a decent bit of money) getting a dog that hopefully won't have that... so we'll see if that pays off. But of course he needs to stay lean like you said.

Oh god. I very much worry that is what I'm in for, 8-10 years of puppy. I just want him to chill out a little 🤣 but I'm sure I'd miss it if he ever actually did lol.
