What did you do to your TJ today?

I think he was referring to the topless midget beaches down there.

I found an internet pic of him at the beach. Not sure which one he is. ;)

I think that's everywhere there is snow!!!!

Some folks wear the snow like a battle scar.....

I waited until I had 6" of snow on my Jeep, then freezing rain, before I cleaned off my top in heavy frozen sheets. I was happy I didn't rip the top from the weight. I brushed off the little 4" of snow two days ago. The ice is what makes it dangerous to drive on the road without removing it.

Warm up the Jeep, turn the heater on, and that powdery stuff melts. It's against the law in Va to drive with snow/ice on top of your vehicle. Too many lazy idiots here that drive on the highway and that crap blows off, hitting other vehicles windshields.

8” on the deck of my sons ship in Norfolk. That’s allot of snow for you guys.

Lightened the Jeep again, yup annoying squeak from Tuffy cargo drawer, pulled drawer out, left shell in for now still acts as a security box, more room. When I remove the drawer box, I will probably post drawer on our parts for sale forum soon. Drawer, now used for storage. Getting ready to Jack up Jeep high enough to drop rear axle to replace bad uni-ball bearing on truss. Then Drop skid, t-case etc….. not necessarily in that order either.

Pulled the trigger on new gears and the tools that I didn’t already own to do the install.

What setup did you decide on?

I see you are from Kalamazoo... I grew up in SW MI during the 70's. Lived in Battle Creek, Athens, & Climax before moving to Alaska.
Now I'm in SoCal and no, I don't miss the snow. ;)

Hey, nice! I grew up in Edwardsburg and moved up to the kzoo area when I met my wife. SoCal sounds pretty good! My arthritis is not a fan of our winters here, for sure.

I went with the Yukon 4.56 gear set (YGK005) from Summit. My 06 TJ has the 2.4l and the 6 speed nsg370. I love this little jeep.
After struggling to get the money together to have it done at a shop, I decided to just do it myself.

It's more of a what was lost from my tj today. My jeep dog Gabriel left my tj and crossed the rainbow bridge today. Man I'm going to miss him.
I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a dog always hurts. However, I feel obliged to ask - when you say he "left my tj and crossed the rainbow bridge," you don't mean that he literally fell out of the TJ, resulting in his death, do you? That would be really tragic, more so than normal... :(

Health issues required euthanasia.
