What did you do to your TJ today?

The PO had it installed when I bought it, I hate how it looks. Didn’t want to have to buy longer bolts if it’s not needed.

Went down the rabbit hole last night of body lifts. If I lift the body with the black magic 1.25 kit will I get interference with my manual shifting and the plastic bezel inside? Deleting the skid drop may help avoid it but I know in my TJ, that also has a skid drop, I had to remove the boot on the stick since any time I shifted into 2nd/4th/ reverse the interference with the bezel would push the stick out of gear into neutral.
Remove the transfer case drop and put it back to where it was.

I can't say for the stock shifter, but with my B&M shifter and the 1.25" body lift, I don't have any clearance issues.

I had the same prob after installing my (modified) tuffy console. Just heated up the stick with a propane torch and bent it back a little bit. Prob solved.

Remove the skid drop on the lj. On my tj with a 1.25" body lift I had interference with 2nd gear.but that was partly because the body was shifted over to the passenger side.

If you did have vibes after removing the drop, I'd install a MML. I have a 3" lift on my Rubicon with no tcase drop or MML and zero vibes. I have a much shorter rear driveshaft too.

If I’m planning on a 1.25” body lift should the MML also be 1.25”? Thinking of a tummy tuck long term

A 1" MML will work with a 1.25" body lift. That is what I'm running without any modifications.

I wouldn't install a body lift without a MML to go along with it. I also recommend getting a MML that is the entire motor mount and not just a slide in spacer.

Picked up a new JKS trackbar for 50 bucks on fbm😁The guy tried drilling out the bushing but that didn't work out for him and he got another bar,

I already pressed out the "old" bushing and most likely a moog K3147 or a Oreily's brand "precision" one will take place since that one doesn't use a split sleeve like the moog does!

EDIT
New bushing is pressed in,much better 😁 not bad at all 75 bucks all in about 3 minutes of my time pressing the old/new,out/in bushings out and bam....New trackbar 😁
The Bushing is from oreilys. Its the "Precision" branded one,The moog is a split sleeve where as this one is a solid sleeve!!
