A CJ-6 is only 0.1 inches longer in wheelbase then a TJU. They do look like they're 100 ft. long.

CJ6 is the one Jeep I always wanted and could never find, that wasn't out of my price range or a rust bucket!!!!

We just got back from a trip to Kaua'i. During that trip, we visited the "Jurrasic Park" Falls (Manawaiopuna Falls).
I completely forgot there was a Jeep in the movie. You see that Explorer all the time.
I also just watched Episode 1 of Fantasy Island (1977 TV show) also filmed in Hawaii.

I was starting a thread when I ran across this one. It has both the Jeeps I was going to post. So I found a new one

i can't remember, but i think (at the time the move came out) the timeline didn't jive.
i dont think he couldn't have owned that refreshed XJ model - prior to leaving (and then getting stranded).
It would've had to have been a pre refreshed model.
could be wrong - but i think that was right (or something like that).
