What did you do to your TJ today?

I dont really know if i have the 19 G. tank on my Lj,The 1st time I've had the light turned on I filled up on almost 15 gallons,I always get gas at half tank!
Also to mention,I'm tuned got a bigger cam than stock,Ported head/intake ARH header 3" exhaust so all that ain't helping,Although said mods really didn't affect my MPGs ! Maybe 1mpg less since my wallet didn't notice now it has however with these 33s lol
ALSO now that i think about it I'm sure I've been lugging it alot too,me going 70 I can be at full throttle or half and there's no difference in power,So I just rest my foot on the throttle so I need to watch out for my foot !

I'm not getting a prius.....a smart car
I can afford the gas but setting that young&dumb shit to the side,I need a fuel efficient vehicle! I probably woulda had that 4.8L& a Tr4050 transmission by now if I had a better more fuel efficient vehicle

I'm at a point where I can afford the fuel but don't make enough to just get another car out the blue....I'm a bit stuck,Debt is another thing I gotta take care of,I really just need a job that isn't a 72 ish mile Round trip too! Definitely need something closer.

This is something most people don't get . The total cost of another vehicle = a lot of gas in your jeep ! The cost per mile is wild !

Been there done that, you have to drive a LOT of miles to justify insurance + maintenance on a second vehicle. Then you need to do it for a LONG time to payoff the initial investment.

I am in the same boat, my job is 55mile round trip and still annoying. Luckily Ill be moving closer (8 minute drive) to the office.

Debt be real, I just spent the last 12 months paying off 25K in debt.

The manual helps out alot! The gearing in it rather.....but wow thats amazing man! With what i got done internally on my engine and with how i drive im not helping myself either Jeep go vroom&burble noises so me make jeep go vroom&burble
Im also jealous that you have a manual Wish i coulda know that the 05 models have the Ecm&Tcm all in one.....woulda just gotten a manual and swapped in a tr4050 (and im now realizing im off topic now sorry) cant see myself dropping 1k for a WF stock ECU so a Haltech it is once i go manual

Work as an engineering support technician for a cash management company

Before that was dealership ev/electrical tech for a dealership hence the debt

Well I do. And chances are I’ll driving it for years to come. Has 61k and I definitely didn’t buy it for gas mileage.
