What did you do to your TJ today?

Is this the part that the towed black LJ needs?
Yup, thats the transmission side shift cable bushing. You can pick it up from a Jeep dealer or online for a few bucks. Mopar PN 68137495AA

Someone with more knowledge about the 42RLE might know the part number for the top half, if there is one...

But just crawl under the jeep and look on the passenger Driver side of the transmission, I bet the shift cable is just flopping around like a wet noodle thanks to that bushing traveling to a parallel universe.

lil edit thanks to @MRChiefE7 for correcting the side it goes on.

At least that's what believe based on how many teethless grins I've seen at walmart.

Yes, I typed TEETHless, because teeth is plural and a single tooth may be all that's left.
I believe most of them lost their teeth reaching for the Diet Coke on an upper shelf.

NO now we get to call em yanks and say that

Oh hell no, Y'all keep the Yanks and tan pants car key pronunciations up there you hear me? (Yeah IK your profile says CO but still)

You won't catch me calling it a pop, its coke and a coke only. And I will definitely not say "IM WALKIN HERE"

Get suited up for that 1,500 KM drive to Aoraki if you want snow :cautious:

* I do not know anything about New Zealand other than Auckland and Mount Doom :ROFLMAO: (Mount Ruapehu for the non LOTR peeps)
Haha This as close as you can get via Jeep , it’s a very long and lonely road, although it is stunning in that part of the country ( 1st pic. Mt Aoraki snow capped in the background) highest point in NZ at 12,217 ft

I put on my big girl panties and drilled out the track bar mounting hole. Only cried a little. Swapped out the old Rough Country track bar for another I picked up. Double Johnny Joints for $100 was hard to beat.
Looking like the Rough Country TB was just starting to bend on me.

Now comes the fun part of cycling suspension to confirm fitment. Blah

I wish ai had those kind of views…..

Lovely photos and a lovely jeep!

The closest well-ish known area I live by is a literal Spanish translation of the word Flat…

Only mountains I see is a dump or all the dirt mounds for half completed construction sites…

edit - technically the highest point of Texas is Guadalupe Peak at 8,752 ft…. but drivable its Mount Locke at 6,791 ft.

Both well over two tanks of fuel in my jeep… so probably wont ever see them in my rig.

You and @Zorba should have competition on who has the highest hill. 😉.
The photos I took are not local to me either…. 2.5 days of solid driving plus a 3 hour car ferry. …. But worth every cent of gas I threw into the Jeep for those views

Swapped out my 9 yr old chinesium LED headlights for new chinesium LED headlights.

Between the two of them, this puts me at 17% of the cost of a set of JW Speaker headlights, so I can’t be upset.

My Chinalights are still going strong too. It's been over 5 years. I have nearly $90 total invested in headlights and driving lights. Love them for offroad night driving.

Looks like we've got the same ones... funny enough, i hadn't really noticed how much all the scratches had diminished the throw on the old ones until i fired these up this morning.

I do need to readjust the beams as they're shooting a bit too high for my liking.

In other news, it seems my driver's side corner marker has gone out again. Not sure why the corner markers seem to die so fast. I feel like I've replaced those 2 or three times in the last year or two.

I had an issue with my front side marker light when the ground on the front fender light needed cleaning. Fixed my issue.
