Front differential noise

It’s not a click. It’s a noticeable thud thud in perfect rhythm audible in the cab with windows closed and can also be “felt” in the floorboard as per the driver. That click you hear could be the fill or drain plug in a bit too far making contact.

My front rubi diff has rather loud clicking from the spider gears when one tire is spun. Could it be something like that? If the rubi diff is failing I'd replace it with arb/elocker asap

Could be cracked teeth on the spider gears, damaged thrust washers for the spider gears or could be something.
The only way you will know is to remove the differential cover and do an inspection and check the gear lube for sparkly particles.

Don't miss the forest for the trees. It is unlikely your issue but spinning one wheel to see what happens is an easy thing to do.

If the rubi locker is worn like mine consider getting something better before it blows and takes out the gearset and bearings
