You're correct about that. The article writer should have done his damn homework. As a point of interest, however, it might be worth mentioning that in the three years that the Pontiac slant-4 was in production ('61-'63), it did, in fact, beat out International's slant-4 displacement, as the corn binder was only at 152 cubic inches. The 196 wasn't released until 1966.

For what it's worth, my family has owned both of these vehicles with their slant-4 drivetrains. Love the distributor caps!

We're not old, my friend, we're experienced...;)

Between the two of us we're really experienced at the big "D".....

If I could only turn all that experience into knowledge and figure out how to market it... In cars I'm talking about cars... Damn it... Cars us guys can understand, but those things with legs that sit to pee we don't have much luck with....

Here's the simple version of my knowledge; everything I own is either worthless or priceless, depending on how I want to look at it. Everything I want to own, the owner seems to think it's worth its weight in gold. :sneaky:
