From the OP.... Not a bad looking body swap.

Thankful to call this 4 yr project "almost" done. 62 Falcon on a 74 Bronco. I am a HS shop teacher and my students and I built this from frame up. We call it the Falco. Hope you enjoy.

Probably the best body swap (to 4WD) that I've ever seen. Love the color, and the fact that they did it with a 4-door just makes it all the more interesting. Very cool!

Yes they did a great job. Not many schools have a shop class anymore so IMO it's great seeing stuff like this. And yes I liked that they used a 4-door body too. There are so many of these that turn out looking like SHIT. The only thing I might not appreciate but without better pictures is the tube steps/rock rails. Wished they'd move them closer to the body.

I think International Harvester would disagree with that Poncho claim . Binder put a 196 c.i.d 4 banger in some Scouts ...... ;)

You're correct about that. The article writer should have done his damn homework. As a point of interest, however, it might be worth mentioning that in the three years that the Pontiac slant-4 was in production ('61-'63), it did, in fact, beat out International's slant-4 displacement, as the corn binder was only at 152 cubic inches. The 196 wasn't released until 1966.

For what it's worth, my family has owned both of these vehicles with their slant-4 drivetrains. Love the distributor caps!
