So basically we bought the jeep with a random misfire seem like at a bump the code p0306 would come up replaced fuel injector didn’t change replace fuel injector that didn’t fix it cap rotor plugs nothing compression test 120 all cylinder number 6 was 10psi lower put sea foam in fuel tank and started getting p0300 along with different cylinders thought cylinder head was bad took it to shop they rebuild cylinder head number 6 exhaust valve was bad installed back on jeep and still have the p0300 and p0303 ,p0304 number 6 no longer comes up question is you guys think seafoam caused this ? I’ve replaced everything except rear o2 and cat

No driving issues runs great I drive to work and shut off it sits for like 9hours then when I drive home cel comes up like a 3 blocks down from work all the time

I had a random misfire issue in idle that usually popped cylinder 3 or 4 but was misfiring on multiple cylinders. I tried many things and couldn’t figure it out.

A @Wranglerfix PCM eventually solved my issue and I haven’t looked back. I’d reach out to Mark and see what he thinks.

I’ve replace ecu with new also I never had these other codes in till I placed seafoam in the fuel tank also I have low oil pressure my next thought would be lifters not getting enough oil to open valves all the way up today I replaced spark plugs with the oem champion ones and going to run it and see what happens

Who supplied you with the ECU? I don’t believe you can get a new Mopar anymore, and the typical options out there are bad ideas. I’d contact Mark @Wranglerfix to ensure your computer hasn’t take dump on you.

Fwiw, I seafoamed at the throttle body and put some SF in the gas tank back when I had idle issues. It didn’t solve the issues and also didn’t cause any issues.

So today i used a scan tool and I revved engine to 2,000rpm looking at scan tool I had misfires coming from all cylinders number 4 was the worse at like 24 times

So question I installed new Distributor my timing marks didn’t line up but I was on TDC#1 by any chance could I be off still running good enough but still getting misfires cause of it no codes for distributor being off scan tools says sync?

Sometimes you need to remove the distributor gear, spin it 180* and reinstall in order for the alignment dowel to line up. If you look at the hole for the roll pin,one side comes up on a tooth and the other between.so if you rotate it you change the rotor position.

Also,120 psi is pretty low for compression. Did you take out all plugs at once and keep a charger on the battery when testing?

It spins at half speed. Turn it over one more time and it will be lined up. Pull #1 plug and turn it over till it blows air out and you'll be at compression stroke. The marks should line up then

Going to remove rockers turn cam so marks are lined up and reinstall distributor

What does that even do ? Spring and the pin ?

It keeps the cam from moving front to back and destroying a bunch of stuff

Turn the crank 360* again and the cam marks will line up to be on TDC of the compression stroke.Don't remove the rockers.

So I turned crank over 360 put chain back on turn it over and at tdc number 1 marks don’t lineup they only line up at 6tdc
