What is You alls opinion on these control arms. I have been running them in front for two years for my lowers and just wanted was curious what other peoples opinion was. my rears are still factory and they have finally gone bad and i am looking to replace them. But i wasn't sure about going with steinjager again for the rears because (and im probably being a little picky here but) my front end creeks quite a bit when articulating and the rubber boots dry rotted and tore pretty much immediately. I also purchased the adjustable front track bar from them and was not super impressed. I have already had to change out the poly bushing on the axle and it did not even fit properly because my front end still has play in the track bar. It is far less after replacing the bushing but the play is still there. I have done a little bit of research and found that core 4x4 is liked by most and was throwing around the idea of going with them. Any advice helps tremendously, Thank you!

I have a sack full of rubber boots I ran on hiem joints. It's the only way to keep them from making noise. It's nice to see they have them installed but I can tell you from experience you will need to replace them with any heavy wheeling. Otherwise they would likely work just fine depending on your application. They might not be a bad option as upper arms as they will contact less rock and sticks to mess up the boots.

I currently have Trail Forged control arms. They only have a single Johnny joint, but they are working and have worked for a few years. I agree Savvy arms would be the best option if the budget allows.

If a company offers a bolt on crossover steering kit for a TJ, it's a good hint that their engineering is non-existent or garbage.

Steinjager is absolute rock bottom tier, and I say that as someone with Skyjacker, Rough Country, and Smittybilt products on my Jeep.

I was thinking of calling Reid Racing and seeing how many they'd need to sell to order another batch since they discontinued making TJ 30/44 knuckles.

Maybe we can get a forum group buy.

Reid didn't stop making them because they were a good seller. If you believe in the product, then ask them how many it will take to make a batch that you can then sell. They are not cheap, the work to install them is not cheap, and the 600-800 you spend on the knuckles is just the start of the money pit.
