I was going to use the excuse that I was sleep deprived but I posted the picture @ 4PM yesterday...
So no excuse, other than I didn't look at it that closely. I just liked the color combination so I'd posted it.

I've been properly reprimanded and will strive to not make the same mistake again...

Hell, brother, I just figured you were testing us! ;) I have to say, though, that is one of the wonkiest renditions of a '57 Chevy I've ever seen. In fact, I'm running off the assumption that it even was a '57 Chevy that he was trying to create!

Here's some of his other work...

I guess I could of played it off but that would have been dishonest...
I'll admit to it just being a FUPA on my part.

I know how tired you all get of looking at the best car ever manufactured... It's OK to have a LS in one too.

I had to look that up, but there was a handful of those grills I could see. What are these two? (the light & dark colored ones)

Not sure - my MBZ chassis W-number knowledge doesn't go as far back as that white pontoon. The black one "might" be another W108/W109 with a crunched back end from the general shape and the tail light style. I see another pontoon to the far right. *shrug* The W108/109 were the last of the high grille cars, and pretty much the last of the ones with real wood in the interior. They've always been a favorite of mine. If something were to happen to my current W126, I'd sure take a good look at getting a W108 and putting my diesel engine into it - its been done a few times, but I don't know what all is involved with that conversion.
