Your argument is fundamentally bull shit and you know it. One asshole is all it takes to fuck up a zipper merge and you know that aswell. In a nonexistant perfect world, zipper merge works flawlessly.
If you have a proper zipper merge going then nobody can pass everybody and merge in. The person who is now the asshole is the early merger.
Same problem as a roundabout, stupid people.
