What did you do to your TJ today?

Fixing to evaluate placement of these on my TJR

Maybe a little further back?

Yes- They need to be as far back as reasonable we just have to make sure the pans have clearance under the hood- I think we ended up with about 3 1/2 inches from the back of the hood but we have to check everything

I ordered some new coil spring insulators and looked into a fucked up horn. I beeped at the neighbor when I came home from work at 4:30 am and the horn stayed on for like 6-7 seconds and then it died completely. The relay is hot as soon as you put it in the PDC so I figure either the switch is toast or there’s a short to ground somewhere in that circuit. Opted for a standalone horn button for a quick fix since I love honking at idiots on the road. Hopefully I can get it wired up over the weekend.

This arrived today. I don't think they make these anymore so I scouped it relatively cheap for added insurance. Need to clean it up a bit and respray.

Trac-bar brace from tri-county gear.

Also welded on the sway bar brackets from Blackmagicbrakes over the weekend. Doubled them up because I saw Blaine had done on sway loc equipped jeeps due to their stiffer street setting. It is not super necessary but not overly costly. Need to clean up the passenger side mount a bit more. Glad the axle upgrade/ regear project has started.

But the wheeling pics didn't load.
Glad you made it home ok. Solenoid is where I would go.

Quite frankly, I was too busy driving to take pics. There were like 20+ Jeeps from 4 different clubs. Some beautiful country though. We ranged from a stock Bronco sport to 4 Wheeler cover truck on 44s and everything in between. There was one guy in what used to be a CJ7 working his way through a pit that I couldn't stop watching long enough to remember to get my phone out and video. Pretty dang amazing that he made it through.

Broke the new dizzy gear on the press, Flipped the old dizzy gear180° on the shaft.
Followed the timing protocol on here and stabbed it back in, fired up first kick, no sputtering and running smooth, knock on wood 🤞
Thankfully the cam gears were in great shape. Thanks for the legacy info on here.
Pic was before rag in hole wipe down air cleaning and brass brush scrubb a dubb.
