I am planning to run the Rubicon with @Alex01 on the weekend of September 22-24. It would be great to get a nice group going.
Bummer, I appreciate the invite, but I’ve got company coming up for Street Vibrations that weekend!
Hopefully I’ll find a group and time that fits my schedule.
Am also going that weekend. We will have two rigs. One is my TJ on its Rubicon maiden voyage. Other is a very built JK with a ton of Rubicon experience.
What day are you guys going in? We will be at loon on 9/21 and starting the next morning.
Nice! @Alex01 and I haven’t finalized the details other than that weekend. I could do the Rubicon on Friday-Sat or Sat-Sun. I would even be up for Rubicon Fri-Sat and some of Fordyce Sun?
Now you're making me want to do the Sunday run. Got go check how many points I have with the wife lol. Realistically I'd only do one trail.
Friday-Saturday is probably the better idea though since they'll likely be less traffic that morning.
I ran slick rock last week and blew my front ujoint 2 times. I'm again talking with revolution about the front axle shaft. To make things more fun I particially tore my calf muscle (a few days ago) but that should be better well before the 21st.
Fordyce has been sitting at 120 cfs for a while now so it would be possible to run.

Older or younger? I have two younger children but was planning on leaving them at home.
Get me some dates you want to go and I can see if I can make it work. Fordyce is just down the road from me now.
I haven't been on fordcye this year yet and want to make it out.
Fun. Our young ones are 3 and 6. They'll have a blast. I brought our oldest, 15 now, but closer to 10 or 11 when she went and she had a good time.
Yeah they’re both fired up. This is rubicon number 2 for the 8 year old. First time for my boy (the 7 yo) but he’s pumped and knows the major areas by name already.
They both ran Dusy with us last year and were great sports.
They’ll be accomplished drivers by the time they’ve got their license! Haha.

Potentially the weekend of September 30th. I move for work in September 18th and the jeep needs minor work which is hard to accomplish with my hand injury. I’ll keep you posted.
Yes there was. We went 76 miles that day. Saw a lot of new country.
