What did you do to your TJ today?

Rear out.

Started a week or so ago, doing a bunch of stuff to the LJ that I'd been wanting to for a long time. Still working on the front end, but new shocks, steering damper put in and this morning finished up on the track bar. Considering I've only got a couple of hours in the mornings to work on it, I'm doing okay considering all the rusty fasteners that are putting up a stiff fight. Still need to put in the new control arms on the front and when the seal kit comes in, I'm finally going to fix that darn power steering fluid leak that it's had since I first got it home. It's got to where the Lucas stop leak isn't working on it any more.

The rear is getting new shocks, sway bar bushings & links, track bar and control arms.

Fixed a loose wire for the interior dash light..
Then it must be Sunday as I went for a drive, even though the weather was like a kid in an Ice cream palour and couldn’t make up its mind what it wanted to do.

Pretty country. All those years in the Navy and I never got down that way.

Installed the wideband; it looks like it starts reading around 4 psi of boost and is a bit rich @ .817 Lamba (with water/meth injection off).

Not sure why the gauge doesn’t read sooner. I have lots to learn.

Edit: I found an older post from Jezza…looks like the PCM still targets stoich in light boost. So the guage is working as it should.

Took an hour drive this morning, then dropped my wife off at the surgery center she works at so she could get in some overtime (while I cruise in peace and quiet). :)
p.s. She took the pic after commenting that the Jeep still looked clean after 3 days of afternoon showers.

Does she ever give you that compliment when you shower 3 days in a row????? 🤣 🤣

As the front control arms haven't shown up yet (maybe tomorrow if FedEx decides to play nice), I went ahead and put the rear on jack stands and started hosing down bolts and nuts with Kroil to get them ready to break off in the next few days. Some like the upper shock bolts which are getting a good look at them, I'll be very surprised to get out in one piece. But then again, on the front, the only ones that couldn't get out in one piece was the upper shock nuts which I used a nut splitter on as that seemed the easiest way to get those off.
