Everything looks better with crown

I went DIY with Wheelskins a couple years ago and could not be happier. Feels great. Looks really nice. It's holding up great.
Not hard to do and you get the equivalent of a new leather wrapped steering wheel for not much $$.

I did the wheelskins as well. What I like is the quality of the leather, and how it increases the diameter of the wheel. It was also and easy install since you don't have to disassemble the wheel.
What I don't like is the unfinished look around the spokes where I've circled.

My issue is that it's too much effort to get an unfinished result. I may slap a wrap-around cover for the extra thickness and accept having a non-finished look. Ultimately, I'd like to get a steering wheel from the dude in Poland, but I'm not confident that my skillset can gracefully tackle the removal & installation.
If that’s what you really want, it can’t be that hard to come up with a spare wheel and ship it to him, can it?
The other option is adapt the later wheel. Not sure what’s involved in that, but I bet it’s possible.

My steering wheel is needing an update too.
Has anyone tried this company in Texas?
Might be better than sending overseas.

The later wheel does swap on. The main difference there is one is held on with a nut onto a threaded stud, the other is a bolt that threads into a hole in the end of the splined shaft.
What I have yet to figure out is whether or not the two different cruise control buttons have different levels of resistance to activate the cruise functions.
So you can swap in the four spoke wheel. It will fit, but you can't secure?
Would that be accurate?
Very good quality and super fast shipping from this guy. Just installed mine today.

Did you choose his TJ or WJ item?
Last I saw, there was a listing with steering controls for a WJ, but I wasn't sure if the steering wheel controls would be a plug n' play with my '05 Rubicon.
It looks like he's away from his store until early May.
That's the guy I communicated with on both FB & eBay.
Unfortunately he advises he can't get the earlier two spoke wheels any longer.
I bought a donor two spoke and had it shipped to Chris @ LeatherGoods.com. He recv'd it Friday and he says a few days for turnaround. I did all smooth leather with red stitching to match the Redline Goods shift boot and armrest.
At this point, I have an extra, unused Amazon leather skin, one from Redline which is head and shoulders above the Amazon offering along with a shift boot from another company and soon an extra OE two spoke in Agate, in great condition.
I kinda over-did it.

Anyone have a link to the guy in Poland that does the steering wheel recover?
I found someone on eBay that does them but after a few back and forth emails, he said he can't get the two spoke steering wheel for the TJ. Seller is aacars14 located in Poland.
I am precariously close to ordering the Redline wheel skin but nearly all reviews I read mention something like... If I could do it again, I wouldn't do it myself.. just pay for it.
