TJ Spiderwebshade sagging

My bikini shade is sagging a bit even after massive stretching with bungees and zip ties. I am 6’0” and it hits top of my head. Anyone have a fix they would like to share? Seems like a flexible tent pole would work, but not sure how to secure the ends…

Is it a true spidershade? Or is it an off brand? I've seen the off brands sag.

Have you tried new spiderballs? Yours might be stretched.

Yes it’s the real deal and yes it’s stretched. Wonder now if there is a bar I can buy that goes from left/right roll bars? That would be perfect to keep it off of my head.

Do you have a Bestop Top? Because the arch bar was rattling so bad I ran my spiderweb shade overtop of it. Stopped the rattle and gave me a bit more headroom.

You could do it with PVC pipe...a saddle T on the rollbar...I'd just use one half and secure it with zip ties (after painting it matte black.) Then a 1/2" piece over your head to the other side.

I have a spiderweb shade for my TJ. The bungees are missing. Do you know the original length? And how many do you need? It looks like I have all 4 pieces (Driver, passenger, 2 sides). Thanks!! And Semper Fi !!

A pack of 10 in the 6" length was enough for my standard TJ top, minus the short bungee that attaches to the windshield loop. I reused my short one since it wasn't stretched out too badly. Not sure what size it is, maybe a 4". Semper Fi!

I think this. When I bought mine they included spare balls, presumably bc they know the cord will stretch over time.

Yes that's the one. I count 33 holes!! I was kind of hoping a few would overlap? Looks like I'll have to get enough, then do a trial. 6" length seems short to go around the roll bar pads and connect...but I trust the hive....

EDIT: In looking at the photos of it, they do use opposing holes to limit the number of them. I'm going to be replacing my soft top, so I'll do a mock up in between and see.
