Les Schwab might not cover it if she drove on it while it was flat. That's about the only reason I can think of they wouldn't though.

I was going to snag a picture of the inner sidewall but she'd already left to town. It split in two spots.
The tires were stored in a storage unit over the winter when she'd been running studs.
I'm really happy with how the paint turned out. While the Steel It paint is expensive it sure seems to apply nicely. How well it holds up to abuse is yet to be seen.
Paint on axles and sliders and control arm mounts ain’t no competition for rocks. 2K doesn’t have a chance!

Update on the tire LS is covering it under road hazard. 50% adjust based on mileage.
Now she just needs to run the opposing tire over something (like a piece of angle iron) so she can have 2 new on that end of the car...

Correct me if I'm wrong but a jj that's not worn wont allow for much grease anyway will it?
That's why I like the idea of Lucas having anti-seize in the grease.

I don't know. But I'm putting as much grease as I can into them.
Good luck! Most of what I got in there squirted out when I put it all back together!

Well not knowing how much I'm adding this amount. The one thing that has become very evident to me is that I need new snap ring pliers.
Then add some to the ball.
Then do the other side.
And I get about this much out on reassembly.
So far I've only lost one snap ring. Flew across the garage and found it in the bottom tray of my service toolbox.

I like my Knipex snap ring pliers, but I did have to drill out the holes of the snap rings on the smaller ones to get them to fit.
