I just installed the Zone 4.25 combo lift and went with the Zone sway bar disconnects. How long should the discos be once installed? The directions say to run them all the way tight and just make sure both sides are the same length. It was kinda tuff getting them on the pins the first time. I saw with the BDS brand they tell you to make sure the sway bar is at a 10 degree angle, and to adjust the discos accordingly to get that angle.

You want them long enough so that the sway bar and the links don’t go straight and invert when the axle is at max down travel. That normally means at ride height with a good 50/50 up to down travel shock you want the sway bar itself to be slightly raised at ride height.

That is the pic I saw on the JKS webiste that sparked me asking. Others have stated that mine look fine form the pic above of other forums so I guess i will keep them as is for now. Thanks for the input

IMO, it makes zero difference. I've done them both ways with no ill effects.
p.s. I've had that lift on my current Jeep for 8 years and zero issues. Springs still haven't sagged. Most recent pic on 35s.

Thanks. I just installed the lift so want to be sure she rides right. I will keep the sway bars disconnected most of the time unless I take highway trips just running around these mountain roads
