According to @Irun, "Anyone that has replaced a TJ/LJ valve cover gasket [on the 4.0] knows that the wire harness support on the back of the valve cover is a child of Satan." I wouldn't know, but there is a nice write-up here.

My 97 SE 2.5 doesn't have this bridge, but it did have a clip attached to the top of a threaded shank—the one on the rear-passenger corner of the valve cover. The clip snapped during removal, and I haven't found a part number for it.

Any other 2.5-owners know whether a similar bridge is supposed to be in place? Or is the wiring loom just held in position by this one little clip that I've lost?

For now, I bought these, and 'tapped' the inside of the hole by forcing an M6 screw through it. Then mounted it to an exposed M6 shank located a few inches above the valve cover. Seems to be holding everything up and away from the valve cover's threaded posts.
