Where should I buy replacement steering knuckles?

I can tell you after trying aftermarket knuckles and a conversation with @mrblaine, none of the aftermarkets machine the tapered hole's correctly and OEM is the only option.

Passenger knuckles have been discontinued for a while now. I happen to have found the last Mopar driver knuckle in the states for $47 through the dealer earlier this year...

Yep, you're better off welding what you have.

Now that it's been brought up, I do remember Blaine (who is the expert on such matters) bringing this up on numerous occasions. There are no good aftermarket replacement knuckles. You'll either want to fix yours or find a set of clean ones from an auto salvage yard.

I've seen several of late where that advice should have been ignored. I'd suggest to do it if you are familiar with grinding stuff flat and avoid it if you aren't. What we've all missed is if one plans to do it with the knuckle still on the rig, stop now and go find something better. It never occurred to me that anyone would do it on the rig.

....why would you not do it on the Jeep?
