Where Does Connector Go?

I need help. I found a loose connector on 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ 2.5... My gauges work except miles, gas gauge, temp gauge. The connector has a pink/white wire. I have read that is for the gauges. I have enclosed a pic. Thank TJ guys/girls.

Kinda looks like the underhood lamp? If you don't have one, then that's why it's unplugged. Wiring diagram shows a pink/white wire coming from the distro box to C108. C108 shows pink/white leading to the lamp.

Can confirm that is the under hood light. It looks like someone at some point removed it.
