Been quite the busy month for me actually getting offroad. Last week I posted about my clubs annual memorial day weekend trip which usually falls on the same weekend as Wheeling for Warriors but this year I actually got the chance to attend as WFW didn't fall on memorial day weekend. For those who don't know, Wheeling for Warriors is an event held here in the northeast to raise money for veteran suicide. The event actually generates a ton of money for the cause, they hit $250k raised last year after hosting the event for 4 years. As of recent, the event has been held at Field and Forest Recreation Area in NH, which is pretty much the best wheeling property we have here in the northeast. I've done some of the on property trails before so I decided to choose one of the off property trails I've never been to before hatt was being run for the event. It was a blast. Lots of hills, ledges, and rock. Another fun rainy weekend out in the woods.

I know the guy who started the WFW movement and held an event out here in WA years ago for this but couldn't get enough people to interested in doing it every year unfortunately.

Cool to see it still going in other places. CA does an event also. And I'd heard of other places still doing events.

Thats awesome. I never looked into it that much so had no idea they were doing it in other places. This years turn out was 350 people. I would guess there were about 100-150 rigs.

The guy who started it was from FL and built a rig while he was deployed to Afghanistan. He got people all over the country interested in holding these events. And he traveled to each state that had organized an event until he'd ran out of money in CA or NV I think. Some states still hold an event and then donate the money to a veterans organization.

@joe98tj I was supposed to go to this event. First time I had to ancel the trip in years, due to a business trip. I see you wheeled with Jason (stretched TJ). He's part of OSJ (Ocean State Jeepsters) and is a great guy to wheel with.

@sierradmax Bummer! What trail were you slated to go on? F&F was very wet but the event was still a blast. Jason is definitely a good dude and was fun to watch him wheel that TJ.

@sierradmax On property Blue is a fun time just as long as you don't mind moving a little slow. I actually went to a property called the hilltop, also in Mass. Awesome property worth checking out if you get the chance.
