I currently have 31s on my TJ and was looking to go up to 32s but noticed the after market pacer wheels I have are stamped with “max tire size 31””. I see people putting 33s and bigger on 15 inch wheels. Is there any true risk of putting 32s on this wheel? Tire is 15x8 for reference.

The width of the wheel is what matters as tires 33+ are most commonly 12.50 wide, especially on a 15" wheel. There's people on here running 35x12.50s on factory 15x7 wheels. Probably the majority of us run 12.50s on 8" wheels. You'll be fine unless an installer has a problem with it. The diameter of the wheel has no limitation to the diameter of the tire.

I run 32”x11.5 on the stock ravines. I do have 1.25” spacers to stop the control arm rubbing.

Thanks for the info, the guy at the shop said those stamps are usually aimed towards the width and not the height and that I should be good. My wheels have -3.75” backspacing. From what I read, that should clear without having to add spacers.

The 32x11.5 KO2s have been ordered. Getting installed next Wednesday.

I had 32s with 3.75" backspaced wheels on my old 98'. I had a 3" lift though.
