What street air pressure (PSI) are you running on your 315mm or 35" tires?

Still trying to find the best on-road pressure for our rig to balance comfort, longevity and safety for our curb weight of 4700lbs, We have Milestar Pat's and Right now they're at 35psi per Discount tire's advice (my go-to shop for all our vehicles). I'll probably choose a different tire when these wear out, (I like Nitto's and BFG's) Will a chalk test be enough to find out?

I ran about 26 PSI when I had 35s. No idea on my curb weight.

28 psi and around 4200 lbs running 35" C KO3s. 15s.

25-26psi 33-12.50-15 load C KO2s. Jeep is soft top with only a little added weight, probably less than 200 lbs above stock, not including wheels/tires.

Those tires probably won't respond well to a chalk test unless you want to run a ridiculously low pressure on the street. Look over the tops of the front tires from the front and report what you see.

24 PSI (and 7PSI offroad)

Many tire shops are fine when replacing your tires with OEM size tires and filling them according to the sticker on the car.

But I have never yet found a tire shop which will get the pressure right on oversize tires. Most shops figure it's a bigger tire, it must need more pressure, which shows that they don't have a clue. I've gone in for other service, and had them ask "check your tire pressure"? NO, and watched him write it on the form. And out it comes with all four tires 10 PSI higher than when it went in, as a "free extra service". Some tire dealers now have policies about this, which get it right, but the gorilla changing your tires doesn't care.
