Weird Stuttering

Hi all,
I recently purchased a 1998 Jeep Tj Sport (60,000mi) and a week after driving it around this problem came up.
After the Jeep has been sitting for 30 min or so, the jeep always stutters and bucks a minute into driving it and then disappears for the rest of the trip.
There always is a knocking sound coming from other the car when this happens. I replaced the spark plugs and the distributor rotor with no luck.
Anyone know what this could be?

Sounds like heat soak. Basically when you shut it off for a bit the fuel in one if the injectors gets vaporized by the heat. The insulation prevents it. I just used some heat shield insulation i had from another projects and wrapped it around the injectors.
