My 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an Auto Transmission with 150,000 miles is having issues with shifting from 2nd to 3rd, especially when it is wet or raining outside. I guess it would be an electrical connection issue, but not sure where to start checking electrical connections. This does happen some when it isn't wet, but significantly more when it is wet outside. When It happens, I have to pull over and turn the Jeep off and cycle through the gears, then it will shift from 2nd to 3rd a few more times before failing again and I have to pull over and do it again.
I have checked the fluids multiple times while running and everything is good there. I also swapped the PCM with one from Wrangler Fix due to another issue, but through this might help the transmission as well. I get a P0700 code which seems to be a pretty generic transmission code.
Any help is very appreciated!
