Hi I need to replace my transmission oil and would like to use the royal purple synchromax oil but I am unable to find it locally. I did find royal purple 75w90 synthetic gear oil. Would that be a good replacement? It's a 2002 4.0 manual transmission

Just curious, are you in a huge hurry? Amazon Prime at least in my area Texas, there's multiple options. O'Reilly has it in stock here, when I go to their website and put in Fontana, CA it's saying ship to store same day by 11:45am, so O'Reilly has it at a store locally to get out to other stores.

After years of running 10w30, then years of paying $$ for Redline MTL, I have settled on Pro Honda 80/85w gear oil. It is readily available, more cost effective and most importantly not a high Sulphur type gear oil that eats away at synchros like GL5 gear oils.

My AX15 shifts better than it ever has at 177k.
