Hi guys, could really use some advice. I've found two potential nearly new 285/70R/17 replacement tires and wheels for my stock canyon wheels and 30.5 " tires. One option is Falkin Wildpeak AT LT285/70r/17 on Gladiator Mojave wheels. The other option is BFG AT KO2 285/70/17's also on Mojave wheels. My question is about adapters to fit my lifted TJ. There seems to be conflicting info on Gladiator adapters and lug nut sizes for a TJ. If that's not an issue making them fit, would also like opinions on tires themselves.
Thanks for any help!

There is no problem running adapters for these wheels. Many people do it and it really can save you some money. My personal opinion is that 15" wheels and tires are the best off road combination for a TJ with stock brakes. Do whatever you like, it's your Jeep.

Thanks for the reply. I do have Black Magic brakes, based on the many recommends from this forum. Along with Rancho shocks, Currie adjustable control arms, Currie steering, and probably a few others. Looking for tires to match the setup.

You should be giving me advice.
pagrey, I don't know about giving advice, but I will give you credit and a thanks. After looking at all the pictures I could find of TJ's with 17" wheels, I agree with you. I like the tire to wheel proportions of the 15" wheels better. I think I'm going to buy new tires and have a try at restoring my canyon wheels.
That's what I love about this forum, other people's input will make you consider things you otherwise wouldn't have thought of.
