Hello everybody, I’m on here to see how to fix my issue. My soft upper doors have not fit since I’ve gotten the jeep. I’m not sure if it’s the wrong frame or what. They do not seal at all even with the lightest drizzle water will find its way in. And the wind noise is severe. I’ve tried persuading it but it’s still very bad. My thought is maybe the frame and skin are for a YJ and not a TJ, but I’m not sur

Those look like TJ uppers for sure. I don’t think the pins from YJ uppers will even line up with TJ bottoms. The fit also looks very close to working and in many cases with a Jeep close enough is all you can hope for. I would try wrestling it a bit to see if you can deform the frame to fit. You can also adjust the door at the hinges but I don’t think it’ll be worth the trouble. But typically if you bottoms are aligned the tops should be as good as it gets.

To me it looks like the door skin is slightly too far forward. I've had two Smittybilt tops and door skins and both of them have been water tight. (First top got slashed so I had to replace it)

When I put my new door skins on I had to mess around with the metal frame and tweak it because it didn't align the same as the old one. Also you could try messing with the Velcro to see if you could pull your door tighter.

And in the third picture it seems like part of your door seal is missing.

YJs have a square corder in the rear. TJs have the round corner. You have a TJ upper. Not sure if your metal frames are OEM or not. There are others that have made them over the years and not up to OEM standards. No matter who's you purchase, there is always some "tweaking" of the metal frame to get them to fit correctly.

This is the only picture I've got right now of my soft uppers installed on the Jeep. When my uppers weren't sealing good I would grab the top of them with the door opened and the inside of the door against my thigh, and pull towards myself from the tops of the uppers. Tweak them just a little bit at a time until you can get them adjusted for a good seal.
