Sensor end of light loom?

Hello all,

I had pulled apart my grill and when installing, I found this sensor dangling. Does anyone know what this is? Seems to be part of the light wiring loom

Outside temperature sensor probably for your mirror.

Interesting, mine is the generic mirror, not the one with the temp or compass. Did all TJ/LJs just come with one?

It appears for my year they did. That's awesome, I've been meaning to replace my generic one (mud killed it) anyways so it's nice to know it'll just be plug and play

Next thing you're going to find is the GPS harness in the dash...
