I recently replaced the shocks on my stock 2005 TJ 4.0 Rocky Mountain edition with 85000 miles. It apparent that the springs are weak and the shocks are holding everything up. So, I plan to replace the springs. Everything is original (except for the shocks). I’m looking for advice for what else I should do as long as I have it torn apart to replace the springs. All suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

A little spray paint and new bumpstops? Cheap and easy to do. I use VHT chassis and rollbar paint. Its self priming, thicker than regular paint, and has satin finish. Also a good time to clean the backside of your rims.

Check ball joints and tie rod ends for movement as well.
