Good evening everyone, new here to the forums so if this has already been discussed I apologize in advance. About a month ago, my rear brakes started not releasing (both sides), the first time I noticed this was after setting my parking brake and forgetting to release it when I got back in and backed up a few feet. I released it, but on the way home I could tell they were hung. This continued on and off until it didn't, not knowing what the exact issue was, I replaced everything in the rear (calipers, rotors, pats, hardware, hoses, lines, parking brake shoes and lever). Got it bled this weekend (with it running) and everything seemed fine, drove it to work this morning, came 2 miles home for lunch and both rear wheels were smoking! Is there something I'm missing? Is it the proportioning valve or master cylinder? Any and all help is welcomed and appreciated.

There is a brake hose from the driver's side rear upper control arm area to the rear axle vent that has probably collapsed internally. My guess is if you change that house it will solve your problem.

Yea, just had that hose delivered today. Going to try and get it installed in the next couple of days depending on work and weather. Appreciate the heads up, it's the only thing in the rear I didn't replace.......go figure!

Finally found enough time to get that hose on. That WAS the problem, as soon as I disconnected the hose from the brake line, fluid started pouring out of the line (didn't have any fluid coming out from the end of the hose). Now to get one of my boys over here to get them bled!! Appreciate the help Topfuel83.
