Rear axle woes

Thanks Jerry. Do you think I will be ok leaving the revolution shafts in for a few months until I can get a new locker and regear? Or should I use the factory shafts as a precautionary measure?
I'd install the RGA shafts whenever you want to. Just don't go offroading on semi-tough terrain without the rear locker being locked before you start on it.

10-4. Thanks Jerry. So for now my plan is to clean the differential housing, place some strong magnets in there, and no trails until I get it repaired.

It’s funny, I’d read about the rubicon lsd issues before and figured maybe if it ever happened to me it would be an excuse to upgrade. Just wanted to plan that upgrade out and not have to deal with it in the middle of other upgrades. lol.

Right now I’m thinking arb or Eaton but I have a lot of research to do.

My rear locker's LSD is still fine despite what it has been through. Just have to not drive that axle unlocked on terrain that causes the rear tires to spin/catch/spin which can take the LSD out.
Mine as well. I’m hoping mine may live a bit longer behind a 4cyl. But I am cautious with it in and terrain that has go no go type traction.
