P0731 but shifting fine

Getting P0731. The wiring harness for the input sensor had been chewed through by rats, went into limp mode. Patched it all up, cleared the code and it was fine for about a month. Code has popped back up, pulled wires again, no damage and the jeep is shifting fine this time no limp mode. Checked fluid, clean and at the right level. Thinking the input sensor has crapped out but wanted others input before I started throwing parts.

@hear doesn't this sound like your recommendation to reverse wires on one of the solenoids?

His transmission doesn't have the TCC connector. 03 = 42RLE. Also no safe limp mode on a 32RH.

P0731 is a incorrect ratio code, i'm guessing the speed sensors or wiring to them is in bad shape.

Ok swapping out the input sensor first, as far as i can tell wires and plugs are good.
